Welcome to the Independent Restaurant Solutions website.  During my 30 years in the restaurant and food service industries, I have learned both what works and what does not work in maintaining a successful restaurant. I truly believe that independently owned and operated restaurants, as opposed to national chain restaurants, are better for the local economies in which they reside.

Independently owned restaurants are, more often than not, owned and operated by families; hard working people who want to make a better life for themselves, their communities and their children.  Unlike national chain restaurants, whose primary focus can be shareholder value, independently owned restaurants focus on their food, their employees and their communities.
